The campus of Peking University is also called Yanyuan. Neighboring to Yuanming Garden and the Summer Palace, it is situated in the northeast of Haidian District of Beijing City. It has not only the classical architectures like pavilions, terraces and towers, but also the rockery and rare stones. Surrounded by mountains and waters, the scenery here is very beautiful with lakes upon lakes, banks and islands between the lakes and the reflection of towers on the water.
